You are invited to join your OA Brothers for the Summer Ordeal: August 9-11, 2019 at Camp Bud Schiele.

Ordeal Candidates: If you have been tapped out at summer camp this year, you may now join the Order of the Arrow. To become an Arrowman, you can complete your Ordeal with Skyuka Lodge during this event. All candidates for membership must complete the Ordeal, you are not an Arrowman until then.
I highly encourage you to join the Summer Ordeal. If you cannot attend, the next and last opportunity will be during the Spring of 2020 (May 15-17.) Should you fail to complete your Ordeal during one of those two events, you would have to be re-elected later (which is extremely rare) in order to join the OA.

Brotherhood Candidates: After 6 months of service as an Ordeal member and fulfilling certain requirements you may take part in the Brotherhood conversion, which places further emphasis on the ideals of Scouting and the Order. Completion of this ceremony signifies full membership in the Order of the Arrow.

Notes & Reminders:
– Old Brothers: The steak dinner option is available for any Old Brother. Who qualifies as an “Old Brother?” Any Arrowman who has already completed the Ordeal. I encourage you to purchase and enjoy the steak dinner. Ordeal candidates are NOT eligible for the steak dinner.
– Lodge Dues: If this is the first event you are attending this calendar year, don’t forget to pay your dues as well! If you are attending your Ordeal, your dues are waived.
