Ordeal Candidates:
Congratulations!
You have been taped out to be part of the Order of the Arrow (OA), which is Scouting’s National Honor Society. To join the OA and become an Arrowman, you must complete your Ordeal with Skyuka Lodge 270. You are not an Arrowman until you have completed your Ordeal.
The next and upcoming opportunity to do so will be the Summer Ordeal at Camp Old Indian (601 Callahan Mountain Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690), on August 10-12, 2018.
I highly recommend attending the Summer Ordeal. However, if you cannot attend the Summer Ordeal, the next and last opportunity to do your Ordeal will be during the Spring of 2019 (The Spring Ordeal). If you fail to complete your ordeal during any those two events, you need to be re-elected later (which is extremely rare) in order to join the OA (you will still have to complete your Ordeal.)

You are invited to join your OA Brothers for the Summer Ordeal: August 10-12, 2018.

If you completed your Ordeal in August 2017 or before, you are eligible for your Brotherhood conversion.
Brotherhood Candidates: After 10 months of service in the OA as an Ordeal member, and after fulfilling certain requirements, you may take part in the Brotherhood conversion, which places further emphasis on the ideals of Scouting and the Order of the Arrow. If you successfully complete your conversion and the Brotherhood Ceremony, you attain full membership to the OA.

The steak dinner option (which I highly recommend,) is available to any Old Brother. An Old Brother is any Arrowman who has already completed their Ordeal (Brotherhood candidates are still considered Old Brothers.) I encourage all Old Brothers to purchase and enjoy the delicious steak dinner. Again, Ordeal candidates are NOT eligible for the steak dinner, so please do not sign up for it.
