Troop 250 Scouts 13 and above

Calling all High Adventure Scouts! Are you looking for a real life adrenalin rush instead of another video game adventure? Do you long to go places where very few people in this country will ever go to? Do you enjoy nature and the beauty of the world around us? If this is you, make plans to join a few likeminded friends in Troop 250 next summer for the Northern Tier High Adventure Canoe trip in Ely, Minnesota!

When:                  July 22-28, 2018

Where:                Ely, Minnesota (fly to Duluth and drive two hours or fly to Minneapolis and drive five hours)

Cost:                      $570 per person plus airfare to Duluth or Minneapolis and travel from airport to Northern Tier

Who:                     Six Scouts and two adults. Scouts must be age 14 by the time of the trip OR 13 and graduated from 8th grade. The recommended weight of scouts is at least 100lbs.

Included:             Cost includes packs, food, cooking gear, tents, canoes. Participants will need to wear boots and bring their own personal gear, three season sleeping bag, and a sleeping pad.

Why:                     Do I really need to explain this?? See below for more info.

Adults:                 At least one of the adults attending needs to have completed both CPR Training and Wilderness First-Aid Training.
