Hello Troop 250,
Our annual Family Ski trip to the Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia is scheduled for Saturday, February 20th and 21st. Please see the attached flyer for all the information and options. This is a FAMILY event and anyone can attend. Family, friends, registered scouts and leaders, aunts, uncles, ANYONE! The rental package includes:
* A full day lift ticket on Sunday, February 21st (8:00AM – 10:00PM)
* Ski Rental Equipment (snowboarding is $39 EXTRA, i.e. $95 total)
* A 90 minute group lesson customized to your skiing level
* A meal voucher valued at over $8.00
Families can head up Saturday afternoon, stay overnight in a hotel, then head up to Winterplace early Sunday morning (about 25 minute drive to Ghent). Check-in time is @ 8AM upstairs in the Winterplace lodge where I will get everyone’s lift tickets and meal vouchers to hand out to you.
I will be working on hotel reservations for myself at the Microtel Inn in Princeton, WV (it’s pretty cheap). If you are planning on signing up, please make your own hotel reservations as early as possible since the hotels can book up during peak ski season.
