July 2026 – Visit to Jamboree
We’re planning a National Jamboree weekend trip this summer—camping as a troop with a Saturday visit (10 AM – 4 PM) to the National Scout Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve where it is expected there will be be over 20,000 scouters from across the country.
Trip Details • Dates: July 24–26 (Fri–Sun)
Location: Beckley, WV area
Plan: Camp Friday–Sunday + Jamboree visit on Saturday
Ticket Cost (Saturday Only) (Age as of July 25)
• 14+: $103
• 13 & under: $77.50
What to Expect
• Very large event with lots of walking and crowds
• Experience the magnitude and excitement of the National Jamboree
• Day pass provides access to a subset of activities and areas of the National Jamboree
• Expectation should be primarily to walk around, see the event, explore Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve, and see many exhibits and demonstrations.
• Participants should NOT expect to participate in the most popular specific activities (shooting, zipline, bike park, etc.) due to time availability and expected very long lines for popular activities
NOTES:
• Scouts will also need money to purchase lunch at the Jamboree, as well as to purchase dinner on Saturday and Lunch on Sunday at a restaurant (fast food)
• Tickets may sell out at any time so it is important to purchase your ticket ASAP. Tickets will be purchased on Monday, May 18, so please place your order on this form to purchase tickets. If we are unable to purchase tickets (i.e. sold out) funds will be refunded.
