It is now time to begin signups for the annual Troop Ski Trip to the Winterplace Ski Resort which is scheduled for February 25th – 26th.Please see the attached flyer. I have also attached a rental form which shows variations to the ski package (note: the total for snowboarding is listed as $88 on the rental form. This is incorrect. The correct snowboarding fee is $93). This is a FAMILY event and anyone can attend. Family, friends, registered scouts and leaders, aunts, uncles, ANYONE! You will receive the following:
- A FULL DAY LIFT TICKET (8:00AM – 10:00PM)
- SKI RENTAL EQUIPMENT (SNOWBOARDS $39 EXTRA) (i.e. $93 total)
- A 90 MINUTE LESSON CUSTOMIZED TO YOUR SKIING LEVEL
- A MEAL VOUCHER VALUED AT OVER $8.00
Accommodations:
We have 10 non-smoking rooms reserved at Microtel Inns & Suites in Princeton, WV. Each room has two double beds, so four people will fit with no problem. The Hotel offers a free breakfast buffet and has an indoor pool and hot tub (you may want to bring your bathing suit). Please note that each room must have an adult but we will do our best to accommodate everyone (no rooms with only scouts – sorry). The hotel room rate is $60/room plus tax. Anyone wanting one of these rooms may transfer the reservation into the traveling adult’s name. Individual scouts may sign up to attend and we will attempt to coordinate a bed for you along with the hotel fee.
