Update Friday 1/27

Last nights storm caused a lot of damage at the Greenway. Because of this all the trails are closed. For safety reasons we will be CANCELLING the workday tomorrow January 28 on Wyatt Keys’ Eagle Project.  Thanks to all that contacted us and volunteered to show up. A new work day will be scheduled in February and an announcement will be made at the next Troop meeting.

Troop 250 Scouts and Adults,

As I discussed Monday night at the troop meeting, I am having an Eagle Project workday this Saturday, January 28th, from 1:30-4:00pm at the Anne Springs Close Greenway along the Wild Azalea Trail. I would like volunteers to please bring gloves, a shovel if you can, and you must wear close toed shoes (preferably boots). Water and snacks will be provided but you might need to bring your own water bottle.

To get to the Wild Azalea trail, get on Springfield Pkwy and turn onto Old Nation Road. Then take a right onto Cantrell Ave and follow it to the end at Lake Haigler. Be careful to go slow down on Cantrell Ave because the road can be a little rough. I hope to see many of you there this weekend.
